Instructions

  • Peel and cut the apple and beetroot to small pieces.
  • Boil apple and beet slices with water in a pan for 5 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and let it cool a bit, then blend it to puree the sauce.
  • Return the apple and beet puree to the same pan and add, ground pepper, cinnamon powder, honey and red wine.
  • Cook over medium heat, until thick for 8-10 minutes.
  • Transfer to a bowl and serve as you like.
