Instructions

  • Add fresh thymes, mushrooms and garlic clove in a food processor and pulse them until they are fine.
  • Now place a skillet over medium flame and heat some oil in it. Now cook some onions in the skillet after reducing the flame for about 15 min or until they turn golden brown. Then add the mushroom mixture and continue heating for a few minutes and then remove it from heat and set aside for it to cool.
  • Now add the cooled mushroom with lentils and stir the ingredients. Now add salt, egg and breadcrumbs and combine well. Now create 6 equal sized patties from this mixture. Now spread cornmeal over a plate and coat the patties evenly using them.
  • Place a skillet over medium flame and heat some oil in it. Cook the burgers on either side for a few minutes so that they become golden brown. Now place cheese over the burger and continue heating for a couple of minutes or until the cheese has completely melted.
  • Now the burgers are ready to be served with basil and tomato.
