Instructions

  • Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Lightly coat with cooking spray and then sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper.
  • Place steak in pan and cook for at least 5 minutes on each side. Once cooked, set it aside for at least 10 minutes and then cut it diagonally into thin slices.
  • In a bowl, combine lemon juice, jalapeno, and sugar and fish sauce. Reserve 4 tsp of this mixture in a separate bowl. Transfer the remaining of this mixture in a large bowl and add steak in it to coat.
  • At the center of each lettuce leaf, place 1 ½ oz beef, 1 tbsp cilantro and 1 tbsp cucumber. Sprinkle evenly with peanuts and roll the leaves. Serve it with the juice mixture.
