Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix Marsala wine and cherries. Place the bowl in an oven set at 300 degrees Fahrenheit / 150 degrees Celsius for a few seconds. Remove the bowl and keep it aside.
  • Heat a little oil on a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook both the sides until they become golden brown. Remove chicken and sprinkle it with a little salt and pepper. Keep the chicken warm.
  • Add butter to pan and cook until it melts. Now add thyme and shallots and saute until they become tender.
  • Add chicken broth, cherry mixture and a little salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer until the mixture thickens slightly. Serve the chicken with sauce hot.
