Instructions

  • Combine chopped rhubarb, sugar, lemon zest and water in a sauce pan and cook until soft. Remove from the heat and let it cool.
  • When cooled, mash the mixture and strain through a sieve. Reserve the juice. This can be refrigerated up to one week.
  • To prepare the drink stir in the rhubarb extract, protein powder and ice cubes with the orange juice and serve immediately.
