Instructions

  • Soak wood chips in water for half an hour. Then drain out water.
  • In a bowl, combine salt, mustard, lemon juice and fresh dill.
  • Place the salmon fillet on a baking tray (skin side down). Gently brush the mustard mixture over salmon. Cover it and keep it in fridge for at least 20 minutes.
  • Heat the grill to a temperature of about 225 degrees Fahrenheit / 110 degrees Celsius.
  • Coat the grill with cooking spray.
  • Place some aluminum foil on the unheated side of the grill. Place salmon fillet (skin side down) on the foil (in the unheated side of the grill).
  • Cover the salmon using a lid and allow cooking it for at least 35 minutes. Once the salmon fillet is perfectly cooked, remove it from the grill and serve it immediately.
