I used to eat this recipe as a shake, but now that I don't blend the ingredients it feels like I can get more nutrients and energy from it. This is because you have to chew more on the food, and chewing produces saliva. Saliva contains enzyms for processing your food. It takes a little longer to eat now, but definitely worth it.
