Ingredients
- 1 tsp, leaves Spices, oregano, dried
- 1 medium Onions, raw
- 7 serving Beef, ground, 95% lean meat / 5% fat, raw
- 1 tbsp Sauce, worcestershire
- 2 tsp Soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
- 2 cloves Garlic, raw
- 0.52 unit Bell pepper (green/yellow/red)
- 0.2 cup Ketchup
- 1 large Carrots, raw
- 4 serving Hamburger buns, average size
- 0.4 cup Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw
- 2 cup, chopped Cabbage, red, raw
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise, low sodium, low calorie or diet
- 1 unit Onion, red, raw
- 3 tsp or 1 packet Mustard, prepared, yellow
- 1 large whole Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
Instructions
- Into a bowl, combine beef, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, oregano, cilantro, garlic, bell pepper and onion. Form 4 patties of 4 ½ inches each.
- Heat a heavy skillet over medium heat. Then lightly toast the buns.
- Lightly oil the griddle and cook patties in it. Cook both the sides evenly and transfer to the buns.
- Into a separate bowl, combine cabbage, salt and carrot. Cook this mixture for at least 2 minutes on both sides. Divide the mixture evenly among burgers.
- Apply a little oil on the griddle and heat it. Sear tomato and onion until they are lightly charred. Divide among burgers.
- Take another bowl and combine mustard, mayonnaise and ketchup in it. Top each burger with this sauce.
