Chicken is a wonderful source of protein and a number of essential nutrients like B vitamins and selenium. Ingredients
- 1 stalk, large Celery, raw
- 1 tablespoon Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 0.24 1 cup orzo
- 0.52 fruit without seeds Lemons, raw, with peel
- 0.24 cup sprigs Dill weed, fresh
- 6 piece Chicken thigh, skin removed
- 1 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 6 serving 1 container CAMPBELL'S Low Sodium Soups, Chicken Broth
- 1 leek Leeks, (bulb and lower leaf-portion), raw
Instructions
- Heat a little oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add celery and leek and cook for at least 10 minutes or until they are soft.
- Now add chicken broth and chicken pieces. Then season it with salt and pepper and boil the mixture.
- Once the mixture is boiled, cover it up with a lid and simmer for at least 20 minutes.
- Remove the chicken pieces from the pot and transfer them to a plate and shred into bite-size pieces.
- Now boil the chicken broth and add orzo. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the pot from heat. Add dill and chicken and mix well.
- Serve the soup with lemon halves.
