Ingredients
- 1.04 dash Salt, table
- 1.04 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 0.24 cup Lime juice, raw
- 3.04 large Onions, spring or scallions (includes tops and bulb), raw
- 3.04 tablespoon Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 0.24 tsp Spices, cinnamon, ground
- 2 tsp Spices, allspice, ground
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
- 4 cloves Garlic, raw
- 0.72 tsp Spices, nutmeg, ground
- 3.04 tsp Thyme, fresh
- 20 piece Chicken thigh, skin removed
- 1.04 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1.04 small Onions, raw
- 4 breast bone and skin r Chicken, broilers or fryers, breast, skinless, boneless, meat only, enhanced, raw
- 4 1 piece habanero chile
Instructions
- Add scallions, garlic cloves, onion, habanero chili, limejuice, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, brown sugar, thyme leaves, ground allspice, black pepper, grated nutmeg and cinnamon into the blender. Blend the ingredients to get a smooth mixture.
- Put the chicken pieces and marinade them with the mixture into 2 sealable bags. Seal the bags and turn it over a few times to ensure chicken pieces are uniformly coated with the marinade. Keep the bags in the fridge for a few hours.
- Remove the chicken pieces from the bags at least an hour before cooking.
- Apply a little oil and spread it evenly on the grill and heat it to a high heat to crisp the chicken.
- Place the chicken pieces evenly on the grill and allow it to cook for a few minutes. Keep turning the chicken pieces over for uniform cooking.
- Now cover the chicken pieces with a lid and continue cooking for at least 30 minutes on low heat.
- Serve chicken immediately.
