Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1.04 tbsp chopped Chives, raw
- 1.04 dash Salt, table
- 1.04 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 0.48 unit Onion, red, raw
- 1.04 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 3.52 cup, cooked Fish, salmon, chinook, smoked
- 3.04 1 tbsp Creme Fraiche
- 8 1 slice country-style bread, toasted or grilled
- 2 tbsp, drained Capers, canned
- 11.04 1 tbsp champagne vinegar
Instructions
- Into a small bowl, combine vinegar and onion. Keep it aside for at least an hour to pickle.
- Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium-heat. Fry capers until they are crisp and have opened slightly. Drain excess oil from capers using paper towels.
- Spread the toasts with crème Fraiche and season them with salt and pepper.
- Provide toppings for each toast with smoked salmon, fried capers, drained pickled red onion and chives. Add a little oil over it.
- Serve immediately.
