Ingredients
- 1 spray , about 1/3 second Oil, PAM cooking spray, original
- 5.3 1 oz Quick cooking brown rice
- 2 piece Egg white beaten
- 2.5 3 oz sugar snap peas
- 2 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
- 2 cloves Garlic, raw
- 3 tsp Fresh ginger
- 4 stalk Onions, young green, tops only
- 0.5 cup strips or slices Carrots, raw
Instructions
- Cook brown rice according to package directions.
- Cook carrots, green onions and peas in a nonstick pan coated with cooking spray over a medium heat until they become tender.
- Add garlic and ginger and continue to cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add rice and continue to cook for a few more minutes.
- Create a big cavity at the center of the rice mixture and add egg whites into it. Continue to cook the mixture for a few minutes. Add sesame oil and soy sauce to the mixture and stir well.
- Serve hot.
