Ingredients
- 2 1 tbsp strawberry jam
- 1 tsp Sugars, powdered
- 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 4 slice Ham, sliced, regular (approximately 11% fat)
- 4 slice Cheese, swiss, low fat
- 4 slice Turkey breast, sliced, prepackaged
- 8 1 slice Sandwich bread
- 0.5 cup Milk, reduced fat, fluid, 2% milkfat, without added vitamin A and vitamin D
- 2 large Egg, whole, raw, fresh
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine milk and beaten egg.
- Place a slice of bread on a table and top it with 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheese, 1 slice turkey and 1 slice of bread. Repeat the process for the remaining sandwiches.
- Place a large frying pan over medium-high heat and melt a little butter in it. Make sure to swirl the pan to coat it with melted butter.
- Carefully dip the sandwiches in the egg mixture and place it in the hot pan carefully. Cook the sandwiches on both sides for at least 3 minutes.
- Cut the cooked sandwiches diagonally and sprinkle them with powdered sugar. Now top each sandwich with a small dollop of strawberry jam and serve immediately.
