Ingredients
- 1 oz Peanuts, all types, dry-roasted, without salt
- 0.5 cup Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw
- 0.5 cup slices Cucumber, with peel, raw
- 1 4-5 leaves Mint Leaves, green, raw
- 1 unit Onion, red, raw
- 8 leaf outer Lettuce, green leaf, raw
- 1 pepper Peppers, jalapeno, raw
- 1.5 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Sauce, fish, ready-to-serve
- 1 lemon yields Lemon juice, raw
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 1 spray , about 1/3 second Oil, PAM cooking spray, original
- 1 steak Beef, flank, steak, separable lean and fat, trimmed to 0" fat, all grades, cooked, broiled
Instructions
- Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Lightly coat with cooking spray and then sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper.
- Place steak in pan and cook for at least 5 minutes on each side. Once cooked, set it aside for at least 10 minutes and then cut it diagonally into thin slices.
- In a bowl, combine lemon juice, jalapeno, and sugar and fish sauce. Reserve 4 tsp of this mixture in a separate bowl. Transfer the remaining of this mixture in a large bowl and add steak in it to coat.
- At the center of each lettuce leaf, place 1 ½ oz beef, 1 tbsp cilantro and 1 tbsp cucumber. Sprinkle evenly with peanuts and roll the leaves. Serve it with the juice mixture.
