Ingredients
- 1 cup 1/2" pieces Beans, snap, green, raw
- 1 1/4 cup Wheat Berry, Raw
- 1 cup, chopped or sliced Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
- 25 gram Onion, red, raw
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tsp Spices, pepper, black
- 1 tsp Vinegar, red wine
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 serving Water
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil. Add wheat berries and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer until wheat berries are soft and tender. Drain and set aside.
- Blanch the green beans and rinse under cold water. It will make them crisp.
- To assemble the salad, combine all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well and serve.
