Sesame beef and baby corn makes for a perfect stir-fry dish to serve along with some rice. Beef is a great source of protein and contains lots of iron. It’s also rich in minerals. Furthermore baby corn contains plenty of vitamin A and C and fiber. Toasted sesame seeds provide heart-friendly fat and important minerals to the meal. Feel free to include some other quickly cooked vegetables like carrot, zucchini and bell pepper in this stir fry to make it healthier.

Ingredients
- 1 steak Beef, loin, top sirloin cap steak, boneless, separable lean and fat, trimmed to 1/8" fat, select, raw
- 1 handful Baby Corn, whole, Raw
- 1 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Spices, ginger, ground
- 1 tbsp chopped Garlic
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce made from soy (tamari)
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 0.5 pepper Peppers, hot chili, red, raw
- 1 tbsp Parsley, fresh
- 1 tsp Oil, sesame, salad or cooking
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1 medium Onions, spring or scallions (includes tops and bulb), raw
Instructions
- Slice the steak thinly and place in a bowl. Add the sesame seeds, half of the oil, soy and honey, mix well. Set aside for about 30 minutes.
- Heat the remaining oil to a wok and sauté garlic, ginger and chili for 1 minute.
- Add the baby corns and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add the beef along with the marinade. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat, sprinkle with some parsley and green onions.
- Serve hot along with some steamed rice.
