Ingredients
- 4 1 slice multigrain bread
- 2 large Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- 1 spray , about 1/3 second Oil, PAM cooking spray, original
- 1 medium Bananas, raw
- 1 tbsp Syrups, maple
- 0.1 cup Almond butter
- 0.25 1 cup Almond Milk, Original, Unsweetened
- 0.25 tsp Spices, cinnamon, ground
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract and almond milk.
- In another bowl, combine maple syrup and almond butter.
- Cut the banana into 4 thin slices, lengthwise. Again cut the slices into halves.
- Spread almond butter evenly on bread slices.
- Place 4 banana pieces over 2 bread slices. Place the remaining bread slices over banana, sandwiching bananas and almond butter inside.
- Set the sandwich grill to 425 degrees Fahrenheit / 220 degrees Celsius.
- Dip the sandwiches in egg mixture, let the excess drip off. Now coat the grill with cooking spray.
- Arrange sandwiches on the grill and place the sandwich presser over the sandwiches to flatten them.
- Allow the sandwiches to cook for a few minutes.
- Once the sandwiches are brown on the outside, remove them from the grill and place them on a flat board. Cut them diagonally and serve hot.
