Ingredients
- 2 cloves Garlic, raw
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp chopped Onions, raw
- 1 4-5 leaves Mint Leaves, green, raw
- 1 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 1 tbsp Mango Chutney
- 1 tsp, whole Spices, cumin seed
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 sprigs Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw
- 6 4 oz Ground chicken breast
- 0.5 tsp, ground Spices, cardamom
- 1.5 cup Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain
- 1 pepper Peppers, jalapeno, raw
- 1 tsp Spices, paprika
- 1 cup, shredded Cheese, low fat, cheddar or colby
- 2 piece Egg white beaten
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix chicken, cheddar, salt, ginger, mint, cardamom, garam masala, paprika, cumin seeds, jalapeno, garlic, cilantro and onion. Knead the mixture and using lightly moistened hands, roll the mixture to form balls of 1 ½-inch each.
- Put bread crumbs and the beaten eggs in 2 separate pie plates. Roll the chicken balls in the egg and dredge in bread crumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan. Working in batches, fry the chicken balls until they turn golden are cooked through. Drain excess oil using paper towels.
- Now pierce each kebab with a small skewer and transfer it to a platter. Serve the kebabs with mango chutney.
