Ingredients
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 10 1/4 cup Bob's Red Mill Grits
- 1 tsp chopped Chives, raw
- 4 piece Ice cubes
- 0.25 cup, shredded Cheese, low fat, cheddar or colby
- 4 large Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- 1 spray , about 1/3 second Oil, PAM cooking spray, original
- 0.5 tsp Spices, garlic powder
Instructions
- To prepare grits, mix grits, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder and cheddar cheese.
- To prepare eggs, heat a pan that is lightly coated with cooking spray.
- Break eggs into the pan. Cover it and cook until the whites are set.
- Add half portion of ice cubes into the pan and continue to cook until eggs are cooked.
- Remove the eggs from the pan. Repeat the process with the remaining ice portions and eggs.
- Serve eggs over grits. Garnish it with little chives and black pepper.
