Ingredients
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 2 tablespoon Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 0.25 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1.5 1/2 cup Panko (Japanese Style Bread Crumbs
- 0.75 cup, shredded Cheese, mozzarella, nonfat
- 2 piece Egg white beaten
- 1 spray , about 1/3 second Oil, PAM cooking spray, original
- 4 tbsp parmigiano reggiano cheese
- 1 serving 1/2 cup PREGO Pasta, Organic Tomato and Basil Italian Sauce, ready-to-serve
- 0.5 tsp, ground Spices, oregano, dried
- 4 4 Oz Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast
Instructions
- Set the oven temperature to 450 degrees Fahrenheit / 225 degrees Celsius.
- In a bowl, mix salt, oregano and all purpose flour.
- In another bowl, place egg whites. Place Panko breadcrumbs in the 3rd bowl.
- Dip 1 chicken breast in flour mixture. Then dip it in egg whites and panko. Repeat the process with the remaining chicken breasts.
- Heat a little oil on a pan over medium heat. Add chicken breast to pan and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add the remaining oil and turn the chicken breast over and continue to cook for a couple of minutes.
- Now coat the chicken breast with cooking spray and bake it at the set temperature for about 5 minutes.
- Turn the chicken breast over. Top the chicken breast with 2 tbsp Parmigiano and 3 tbsp mozzarella cheeses. Continue to bake until the chicken is cooked to perfection.
- Serve hot.
