Ingredients
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 1 1/3 cup Dried cherries
- 2 tbsp chopped Shallots, raw
- 0.3 1 cup Marsala Wine
- 0.25 serving 1 container CAMPBELL'S Low Sodium Soups, Chicken Broth
- 0.5 slice Plain Butter
- 2 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 3 tsp Thyme, fresh
- 4 4 Oz Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix Marsala wine and cherries. Place the bowl in an oven set at 300 degrees Fahrenheit / 150 degrees Celsius for a few seconds. Remove the bowl and keep it aside.
- Heat a little oil on a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook both the sides until they become golden brown. Remove chicken and sprinkle it with a little salt and pepper. Keep the chicken warm.
- Add butter to pan and cook until it melts. Now add thyme and shallots and saute until they become tender.
- Add chicken broth, cherry mixture and a little salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until the mixture thickens slightly. Serve the chicken with sauce hot.
