Ingredients
- 0.3 serving Water
- 4 4 Oz Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast
- 1.5 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1.5 cup chopped Onions, young green, tops only
- 1 tsp Sugars, granulated
- 1 tsp Spices, pepper, red or cayenne
- 0.3 cup Cornstarch
- 5 tbsp Soy sauce made from soy and wheat (shoyu), low sodium
- 0.5 1 tsp Minced garlic
- 1.5 tbsp Vinegar, balsamic
Instructions
- Cut chicken into cubes of 1 ½ inches. Transfer them into a plastic bag containing cornstarch and toss well.
- Heat a little oil in a pan. Add garlic and chicken and stir-fry until they are lightly brown.
- Now add soy sauce, water, sugar and vinegar. Cover the mixture and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add red pepper and green onions and continue to cook for another couple of minutes.
- Serve the snack hot.
