Ingredients
- 4 breast bone and skin r Chicken, broilers or fryers, breast, skinless, boneless, meat only, enhanced, raw
- 1 tbsp Sauce, worcestershire
- 1 tbsp Vinegar, cider
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce made from soy and wheat (shoyu)
- 1 tsp Spices, chili powder
- 1 tbsp Spices, cloves, ground
- 1 tablespoon Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 medium Onions, raw
- 1 medium Bell pepper (green/yellow/red)
- 1 tsp Salt, table
- 4 piece Whole wheat tortillas
- 0.5 fruit without seeds Lemons, raw, with peel
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, chili powder, garlic, and hot sauce. Add the chicken strips to the sauce and lightly mix to coat. Cover and let marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes (can also be refrigerated for several hours).
- Place the oil in a large skillet over high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken strip mixture to the pan and sauté for 5 – 6 minutes. Add the onion and green pepper, season with salt and pepper, and continue to sauté for another 3 – 4 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked.
- Warm the tortillas on a pan or in the microwave. Top tortillas with the fajita mixture, sprinkle with lemon juice.
