Ingredients
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 medium Onions, raw
- 1 stalk, large Celery, raw
- 4 tbsp Parsley, fresh
- 1 lb Ground turkey, 93% lean, 7% fat, raw
- 0.25 cup Bread crumbs, dry, grated, seasoned
- 1 large Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- 0.5 tsp Spices, allspice, ground
- 1 cup Beef Broth or Bouillon (Canned)
- 2 ounce Light whipped cream cheese
- 1 cloves Garlic, raw
Instructions
- In large deep saute pan heat oil, add onion and garlic. Saute until translucent, about 4-5 min.
- Add celery and parsley and cook until soft, about 3-4 more min.
- In a large bowl combine beef, egg, onion mixture, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and allspice.
- Mix well and form meatballs 1/8 C each.
- Add beef stock to pan and bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and slowly drop meatballs into broth.
- Cover and cook about 20 min.
- Remove meatballs with a slotted spoon.
- Add stock to blender with cream cheese and pulse until smooth.
- Return sauce to pan and simmer for a few minutes to thicken, then pour over meatballs.
