I lived in Italy for around a year, and this was by far my favourite Italian snack! Simple yet delicious, and a great addition to your cheat day meal repertoire.

Ingredients
- 2 clove Garlic, raw
- 1 large whole Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
- 100 gram Multigrain Baguette
- 4 tablespoon Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 cup leaves, whole Basil, fresh
Instructions
- Cut tomatoes in cubes (around 0.5 cm * 0.5cm, or quarter inch cubes)
- Cut the garlic in very small pieces and add together with the olive oil in a bowl, leave it for a couple of minutes
- Slice the baguette (or any other bread you have) in bite size slices
- Rub the bread slices with the garlic/oil mixture and add a dash of salt on top of each baguette/bread slice
- Put bread in a grill oven until slightly crisp and gold on top
- Add tomato cubes on top and sprinkle with some salt and add a good dash of pepper
