Ingredients
- 1 can Fish, tuna, white, canned in water, without salt, drained solids
- 0 cup Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain
- 1 large Egg, white, raw, fresh
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise, low sodium, low calorie or diet
- 50 gram Celery, raw
- 1 medium Onions, raw
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 2 serving Hamburger buns, average size
- 1 large whole Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
- 1 cup, chopped Lettuce, iceberg (includes crisphead types), raw
- 1 tsp Salt, table
- 1 tsp Spices, pepper, black
Instructions
- In a clean bowl add tuna, egg, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, celery and onion. Also add salt and crushed black pepper as per your taste.
- Mix it nicely until it starts holding together. Make the Patties from this mixture; try to make it round with the help of your palm.
- In a non-stick pan heat some olive oil; cook the patties over medium heat until it becomes crispy and brown from both sides. It will take about 2 minutes per side.
- When your patties are done put them aside.
- Now take your burger bun and cut them half, slightly toss them in the pan with olive oil from the both sides.
- On the bottom half of the bun, spread some lettuce leaves, place your Pattie on it and top it with tomato slices and other half of the bun.
