I love pumpkins a lot and therefore I decided to try this recipe today. I must say that the pan cakes made of pumpkin, oats, egg whites, etc. taste really good and are healthy too. In fact, this dish has large portions of carbs and protein and less portions of fat. This is one reason why I recommend this dish for weight trainers and bodybuilders.
In having a few pan cakes for breakfast it is possible to get enough amount of energy to help you sustain throughout the day. All the ingredients used here are extremely healthy and as such, the dish is easy to prepare.

Ingredients
- 0.5 gram Oats
- 4 large Egg, white, raw, fresh
- 1 tbsp Spices, cinnamon, ground
- 150 gram Pumpkin, canned, without salt
- 1 tsp Leavening agents, baking powder, low-sodium
- 59 gram Sweeteners, tabletop, sucralose, SPLENDA packets
Instructions
- On a medium temperature pre-heat your griddle or skillet
- Use a blender for converting oats into a powder form
- Then add all ingredients – oat powder, baking powder, no-calorie sweetener and cinnamon into a mixing bowl and mix well
- Take another bowl. Mix pumpkin and egg whites in it
- Then pour the mixture in the 2nd bowl into the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Blend the mixture well.
- Start making the pancakes depending upon the consistency you need. If you want to make extra pancakes then you may consider adding ¼ cup of water
- Into a non-stick cooking pan, transfer a scoop of batter – contain ¼ cup of batter and allow it to cook
- When the edges of pan cakes start to firm up and when bubbles start appearing, they are ready for a flip.
- Continue to cook the other side for a few seconds.
- Serve when the pancakes are fairly hot
