I can proudly say that I have perfected the art of making muscle building steak and potatoes for my dinner. I had never cooked steak before, so this is a minor achievement for me.
I not only enjoyed cooking this dish but also had a great time eating it. The good thing about this dish is that it provides you lots of energy that is required by you to carry out daily activities. The dish also scores high when it comes to nutrition value.

Ingredients
- 1 cup drained, rinsed Corn, sweet, yellow, canned, drained solids, rinsed with tap water
- 2 medium Potatoes, white, flesh and skin, raw
- 113 gram Beef, loin, top sirloin cap steak, boneless, separable lean and fat, trimmed to 1/8" fat, select, raw
- 1 dash Spices, pepper, black
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms, white, raw
- 0.5 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 2 gram Margarine-like spread, SMART BALANCE Regular Buttery Spread with flax oil
- 1 Dash Mrs.Dash Onion & Herb Flavor
Instructions
- Let the oven be set to 350 degrees F
- Take 2 foils and place potatoes in it. Then cut them lengthwise (do not entirely cut them)
- Then add a dash of pepper, salt, potatoes and ½ tsp butter
- Fold the foil wrap and place it in the oven for at least 40 minutes
- In the meantime, clean up the mushrooms and steak. Use Mrs dash seasoning to season steak
- Take a medium sized pan and heat some oil in it
- Then pan fry the steak for 10 minutes on either side
- In the meantime, take a skillet (non stick one) and saute some mushrooms
- Set aside the mushrooms once they are cooked
- Also set aside the potatoes for a few minutes once they are cooked
- Then remove steak from the pan and serve alongside potatoes and mushrooms
