One day by accident I have created this recipe, I have some left over brown rice and I want to do something with them. I have chicken and broccoli in my fridge and I created my style of broccoli and brown rice recipe. This is the easiest and best brown rice recipe I have ever made, loaded with good carbohydrate and protein. Broccoli is known for its vegetarian nutrients, like vitamin C & A, fiber, calcium and antioxidants. So if you are tend to avoid broccoli due to its strong flavor then try this broccoli and brown rice recipe and see how well they both incorporate each other. My whole family loves this recipe, the best use you can do with your left over wholegrain brown rice.

Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1 fillet Chicken breast, low fat
- 1 cup chopped Broccoli, raw
- 1 tbsp chopped Onions, raw
- 1 tbsp Spices, ginger, ground
- 1 tbsp chopped Garlic
- 1 tbsp Parsley, fresh
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tsp, whole Spices, cumin seed
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, cardamom
- 1 wedge yields Lemon juice, raw
Instructions
- Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan, saute chopped onion, add cumin seeds and cardamom.
- Add chicken pieces and ginger garlic paste, cook for 5 minutes.
- Add broccoli florets, finely chopped parsley and salt, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- When the broccoli done add cooked brown rice and lemon juice, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
