Ingredients
- 1 can Fish, tuna, white, canned in water, without salt, drained solids
- 1 cup, half cup Sweet potato, boil, mashed
- 1 tbsp chopped Onions, raw
- 1 sprigs Parsley, fresh
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, oregano, dried
- 1 tsp Spices, nutmeg, ground
- 1 tsp Spices, chili powder
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
- 1 large Egg, white, raw, fresh
- 1 gram Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain
- 1 tbsp Spices, ginger, ground
- 1 gram Oil, olive, salad or cooking
Instructions
- Heat little olive oil in a frying pan, saute onion and ginger until golden brown.
- Remove from the heat and add tuna, mashed sweet potato, oregano, chopped parsley, red chili powder, nutmeg powder, salt and black pepper.
- Let it a bit cool to handle, add bread crumbs if the mixture is too wet.
- Make small cutlets of any shape from this mixture.
- Beat egg white in a small bowl and dip all the cutlets in egg white and then in bread crumbs.
- Place all the prepared cutlets in a baking tray and spray little olive oil on them.
- Bake the cutlets in the preheated oven at 375 F for 12-15 minutes from both sides or until golden brown.
