These bagels are extremely easy and quick to make. They are excellent for breakfast and good thing is that you can have them with different toppings.
I and my family members love gorging on these bagels during weekends. I try making these bagels at least once every 2 weeks. Though you may not get the perfect shape for your bagels in the beginning, you will get hold of them after trying a few times.
A couple of bagels is enough to fill your stomach in the early mornings. These bagels are low on calories and are highly suitable for those looking for extra energy.

Ingredients
- 0.99 1 cup Water
- 2.97 tbsp SOKOL, SOLO Poppy Seed Filling
- 0.99 large Egg, white, raw, fresh
- 1.53 tsp Salt, table
- 9.36 gram Cornmeal, yellow (Navajo)
- 24.03 gram Sugars, granulated
- 2.25 tsp Leavening agents, yeast, baker's, active dry
- 2.97 cup unsifted, dipped Wheat flours, bread, unenriched
- 2.97 quarts Boiling water
Instructions
- Add water, flour, sugar, yeast and salt in the bread machine pan. Then set the machine for dough setting
- Once the cycle gets completed, remove it from the machine and keep it on a even floured surface
- Bring 3 quarts of water to boil in a large pot. Then add 3 tbsp sugar and stir well
- Make 9 equal pieces from the set dough. Then roll each of these pieces into small balls and then flatten them.
- Make a hole in each of the balls and then enlarge them with the help of your thumb.
- Then place a wet cloth over the bagels and set them aside for at least 10 min
- Sprinkle cornmeal slightly over the ungreased baking sheet. Then slowly add the bagels into the boiling water. After boiling bagels for a minute, drain the water using a towel.
- Then place the bagels over a baking sheet and top them with egg whites. You can choose to add toppings of your choice at this stage.
- Place the bagels in the preheated oven (190 degrees C) and allow them to bake properly.
