Ingredients
- 6 slice, thick/large Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
- 2.04 cup, shredded Cheese, mozzarella, nonfat
- 0.96 whole Baguette, brown
- 0.24 tsp Spices, pepper, black
- 0.24 tsp Salt, table
- 0.48 cup Tomatoes, sun-dried, packed in oil, drained
- 0.24 cup leaves, whole Basil, fresh
- 2.04 tbsp Vinegar, balsamic
- 0.24 cup Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 3 cloves Garlic, raw
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to the desired temperature
- Take a large bowl. Add pepper, salt, basil, garlic, vinegar, olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes and roma tomatoes. Mix well. Set it aside for 10 minutes
- Take the baguette and cut it into ¾-inch slices. Place all these slices on a baking sheet. Broil the slices for a few minutes or until they turn light brown
- Spread the tomato mixture evenly across the slices. Then top these slices with mozzarella cheese
- Again broil the slices for a few more minutes so that the cheese is melted
- Serve hot
