According to me burger is the most convenient food option for a bodybuilder. I use to gorge on them when busy with my work. I love my variant of this quickly assembled broiler chicken burger that is high in lean protein and have fewer calories then any other burger variant I have ordered from out side.
I use to broil the chicken patty instead of frying to reduce the fat amount and use low fat mayo as well. I also use ample greens for adding nutrition and fiber of these vegetables.
This is a quick, easy and simple recipe to add in your meal plan. Prepare a tasty, handy and guilt free breakfast and evening snack to devour just like a bodybuilder.

Ingredients
- 1 fillet Chicken breast, low fat
- 1 serving Hamburger buns, average size
- 1 leaf, large Lettuce, iceberg (includes crisphead types), raw
- 1 slice, thick/large Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
- 1 tbsp Mayonnaise, low sodium, low calorie or diet
- 1 tsp Vinegar, balsamic
- 1 tsp Spices, onion powder
- 1 tsp Spices, garlic powder
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, oregano, dried
- 1 tsp Spices, parsley, dried
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by mixing vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano, parsley, onion powder and garlic powder.
- Cut and pound the chicken fillets with the help of a mallet to make it thin and about the same size as the burger bun.
- Soak the chicken pieces into the marinade and let it stand for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the broiler or grilling pan and cook the chicken fillets from the both sides until done.
- Cut the burger bun and toss them on the same grilling pan or in a toaster oven.
- Build the burger by spreading one teaspoon of mayo on the bottom bun, then a layer of chopped lettuce and two tomato rings on it.
- Now place chicken fillet on the tomatoes and arrange onion rings on them.
- Complete the burger by placing the top bun on the sandwich.
- Gently press and munch on it.
