My corn and black bean patties are really versatile, assembles a healthy burger with them or slide in between the whole wheat bread for a sandwich. It is also fine if you enjoy them as it is with tomato sauce. A highly nutritious recipe suitable for bodybuilders or those who wants slimmer middles.
These patties are made with high protein black beans and corns, both the ingredients are good source of fiber thus making them really full feeling snack. Each patty will provide you up to 8 g of fiber that is almost half of your daily intake. Include these patties in any form in your diet to get the crucial fiber and nutrition from them.

Ingredients
- 1 cup drained, rinsed Corn, sweet, yellow, canned, drained solids, rinsed with tap water
- 1 1/2 cup Bush's Best, Black Beans
- 1 large Egg, white, raw, fresh
- 1 leaf Spinach, raw
- 1 sprigs Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw
- 1 medium Bell pepper (green/yellow/red)
- 1 oz Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
- 1 cup Peas, green, frozen, cooked, boiled, drained, with salt
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, oregano, dried
- 1 tsp, whole Spices, cumin seed
Instructions
- In a big bowl, add cooked beans, corn, bell pepper, chopped spinach, nutmeg powder, egg whites, cilantro, oregano, cumin, salt and pepper.
- Mix well by using your hand, add bread crumbs for binding.
- Form the patties with this mixture by using hands.
- Heat a non stick pan over medium heat and spray some olive oil to this.
- Cook the patties in the pan until crisp and brown from both sides, it would take 5 minutes each side.
- Black bean and corn patties are ready to serve.
