Ingredients
- 6 breast bone and skin r Chicken, broilers or fryers, breast, skinless, boneless, meat only, enhanced, raw
- 1.04 cup Milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, reduced fat
- 1.04 cup Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain
- 1.52 tsp Spices, garlic powder
- 1.04 tsp Salt, table
- 1.04 piece Egg white beaten
- 8 tbsp Oil, vegetable, Natreon canola, high stability, non trans, high oleic (70%)
- 1.04 tsp Leavening agents, baking powder, low-sodium
- 225.04 gram Plain Flour
Instructions
- Take a resealable plastic bag and place some chicken strips into it.
- Then take a small bowl and add garlic powder, buttermilk and the egg into it. Pour this mixture into the bag containing chicken and seal it. Keep it in the fridge for at least 3 hrs.
- Take another bag and mix bread crumbs, the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Now remove chicken from the fridge and drain it completely so that the buttermilk mixture is removed.
- Place the chicken in the bag containing the flour mixture and seal it. Shake the bag so that the chicken is well coated.
- Take a large skillet and heat some oil in it
- Now place the coated chicken in the skillet and allow it to fry until it turns golden brown. After oil starts pouring down, stop frying. Use paper towels for draining excess oil
- Serve hot
