Ingredients
- 1 packet Cereals, oats, instant, fortified, plain, dry
- 1 oz Peanuts, all types, dry-roasted, with salt
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tbsp Spices, turmeric, ground
- 1 tsp Spices, chili powder
- 1 leaves Basil, fresh
- 1 tsp, whole Spices, cumin seed
- 1 gram Peppers, chili, green, canned
- 1 fl oz Lemon juice, raw
- 1 1 cup Water
- 1 gram Oil, olive, salad or cooking
Instructions
- Take large non stick pan, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds and green chilies, mix turmeric powder, salt and red chili powder with water and add to the oil.
- Bring it to boil and add oats mix well, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
- After 2-3 minutes add basil leaves, lemon juice and roasted peanuts stir well and cook until all the water is absorbed by the oats.
- Serve hot topped with a lemon wedge.
