This is a wonderful snack that can be savoured during various times of the day. The inclusion of chopped bacon, shredded cheese and Italian herbs takes this snack to a whole new level.

Ingredients
- 562.56 gram Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, unbleached
- 2.04 large Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- 1.2 tsp Salt, table
- 5.04 gram Spices, italian style
- 1.2 1 cup Water
- 2.04 Envelope Fleischmann's RapidRise Yeast
- 0.96 clove Garlic, raw
- 6 slice Pork, cured, bacon, pre-sliced, cooked, pan-fried
- 2.04 cup, shredded Cheese, mozzarella, nonfat
- 51.96 gram Oil, vegetable, Natreon canola, high stability, non trans, high oleic (70%)
Instructions
- Take a large mixing bowl. Add flour, garlic, salt, Italian herb seasoning and undissolved yeast.
- Heat oil and water until they are very warm and then add it to the above mixture.
- Whilst scraping bowl regularly, use an electric mixer at medium speed for beating (approx 2 min)
- Add 1 cup flour and eggs and beat for a couple of minutes at good speed.
- To make the batter stiff add the remaining flour and 1 cup cheese.
- Take a baking sheet and spread batter on it until the sides are 1-inch.
- Spread the remaining cheese and top with bacon.
- Cover the above mixture and allow it to warm.
- After about half an hour, the mixture would have doubled in size
- Now bake the above mixture at 375 degrees F for at least half an hour.
- Keep a foil loosely over the baking sheet so that the cheese browns slightly.
- Now remove the mixture from the pan and place it over the rack to cool.
- Serve as squares or strips or use them for sandwiches.
