When I get bore with my regular omelets and frittatas during breakfast, then I try my hands on this healthy pie recipe. This is a low fat pie recipe contains only cottage cheese, egg and spinach as star ingredients.
This spinach pie is suitable for your breakfast, lunch or dinner table. It is packed with egg protein, spinach nutrition and tangy twist of roasted bell peppers. I make this pie to fulfill my body needs of protein and vitamins.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Spinach, cooked, boiled, drained, without salt
- 1 cup Egg, white, raw, fresh
- 1 oz Cheese, cottage, nonfat, uncreamed, dry, large or small curd
- 1 oz Cheese, parmesan, dry grated, reduced fat
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tbsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, oregano, dried
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degree F.
- Prepare a baking dish or pie plate by greasing it with oil.
- Mix all the ingredients until well combine.
- Transfer the mixture to the pie plate and place in the oven.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until set from the center.
- Remove from the oven when crisp and brown, let it cool before cutting the slices.
