Ingredients
- 1 fillet Chicken breast, low fat
- 1 container Yogurt, plain, low fat, 12 grams protein per 8 ounce
- 1 gram Almond Nut
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 serving PACE, Diced Green Chilies
- 1 tsp Spices, pepper, black
- 1 tbsp Spices, ginger, ground
- 1 cloves Garlic, raw
- 1 cup Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw
- 1 gram Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 tsp, whole Spices, cumin seed
- 1 tbsp Spices, allspice, ground
Instructions
- Cut the chicken in small size and marinade with yogurt, and green chilies for at least one hour.
- Grind the almonds with little water to make a smooth paste.
- Take a deep pan and heat oil, add cumin seeds and saute ginger, garlic paste for 2-3 minutes.
- Add marinated chicken and cook for 5 minutes while stirring.
- Add almond paste, salt, pepper and allspices, mix well and let the chicken cook on low heat for 15 minutes or until chicken is done.
- Sprinkle fresh cilantro and serve hot.
