Ingredients
- 1 lb Beef, chuck for stew, separable lean and fat, choice, raw
- 1 unit Onion, red, raw
- 1 stalk, medium Celery, raw
- 1 tbsp chopped Garlic
- 1 tbsp, leaves Spices, thyme, dried
- 1 tsp, ground Spices, oregano, dried
- 1 cup Tomatoes, crushed, canned
- 1 cup Soup, stock, beef, home-prepared
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tbsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
- 1 gram Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 cup strips or slices Carrots, raw
- 1 spear Broccoli, raw
- 1 beans Beans, snap, green, raw
- 1 fl oz Lemon juice, raw
Instructions
- Take deep sauce pan and sauté beef with oil until brown.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, celery, herbs salt and pepper and stir to cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add stock and tomatoes, cover and cook on low heat until tender.
- Meanwhile steam the vegetables either in a steamer or microwave.
- When the vegetables are soft, season them with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
- When the beef is cooked through, serve it along with steamed vegetables.
