Ingredients
- 1.92 cup Milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, reduced fat
- 490.08 gram Graham Flour
- 367.44 gram Plain Flour
- 0.48 cup Molasses
- 45.12 gram Sugars, granulated
- 1.92 tsp Leavening agents, baking soda
- 0.96 dash Salt, table
- 6.96 gram Oil, vegetable, Natreon canola, high stability, non trans, high oleic (70%)
Instructions
- First, invert the wire rack by using canning kettle. Add water just enough to touch the wire rack. Boil the water by placing it on top of a stove.
- Take a large bowl and mix molasses, baking soda, salt, sugar, milk and oil. Then add Gram and white flour.
- Once the batter is prepared, divide it into two equal sized coffee cans of 1 pound each.
- Now place an aluminum foil at the top and use rubber bands to secure it.
- Now boil the water slowly and keep it under steam for an hour or so.
