This is an awesome homemade granola recipe that is gluten free and surprisingly low in calories. The best part of this recipe is all the nuts and ingredients are nicely coated with cocoa powder that is one of my favorite ingredient. I am amazed with the chocolaty flavor of the nuts and consider this recipe as a healthy sweet dessert for my snack time or breakfast time. Just add warm non fat milk to it make a hearty bowl of tasty granola in no time.
This is a very customize recipe for a bodybuilder, contain little trans and saturated fat provide him energy, protein and crucial fatty acids for good digestion and absorption of nutrition all day long. It is advisable to add other source of complex carbs and protein along with this recipe.

Ingredients
- 5 gram Almond Nut
- 2 oz Hazelnuts, beaked (Northern Plains Indians)
- 1 cup Cereals ready-to-eat, KASHI GO LEAN CRUNCH!, Honey Almond Flax
- 2 scoop ze Elite 100% Whey Protein, Rich Chocolate
- 1 oz Chocolate, dark, 70-85% cacao solids
- 1 slice Plain Butter
- 2 tsp Sweetener, syrup, agave
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300 degree F and arrange a baking tray by lining with parchment paper.
- Roughly ground hazelnut and almonds in a food processor, transfer to a bowl and add whey protein rich chocolate and cereals.
- Melt the butter and chocolate in microwave, stir in sweetener.
- Pour it over the nuts and toss well to combine all.
- Evenly spread on the baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until crisp.
- Stir the mixture in between to make sure it does not burn.
- Turn off the oven when crisp, let it cool and store in an air tight container.
- Serve with milk.
