Ingredients
- 0.96 spray , about 1/3 second Oil, PAM cooking spray, original
- 2.04 large Egg, whole, raw, fresh
- 0.48 tsp Salt, table
- 0.96 tsp Vanilla extract
- 0.48 cup Sugars, granulated
- 0.96 tsp Leavening agents, baking soda
- 0.96 tsp Leavening agents, baking powder, low-sodium
- 1.56 tbsp Oil, vegetable, Natreon canola, high stability, non trans, high oleic (70%)
- 9.96 gram Plain Butter
- 22.56 gram Cereals, oats, instant, fortified, plain, dry
- 50.04 gram Brown Sugar
- 1.2 cup Figs, dried, stewed
- 1.56 cup Milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, reduced fat
- 3.96 1/4 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour, Bob's Red Mill
- 0.96 cup All-Purpose Flour
Instructions
- Set the oven temperature to 400 degrees Celsius.
- Take a few measuring cups and gently transfer flours into them. Then take a bowl and mix flours with sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder. After mixing all the ingredients make a well at its center.
- Now add buttermilk, egg, vanilla, oil and figs into a blender and blend until you get a smooth mixture. Now to the mixture, add the fig mixture and stir well.
- Now the prepared batter has to be evenly transferred into 12 cups that have been lightly coated with cooking spray.
- Then combine butter, oats and brown sugar in a small bowl. Now sprinkle this mixture over the muffins. Now keep these muffins in the oven and bake them for at least 18 minutes at 400 degrees Celsius. Once they are prepared, remove them from pans and set aside to cool.
- Serve immediately.
