These baked sweet potato fries are crispy from outside and tender from inside. They are coated with spices and herbs to balance the flavor and satisfy my taste bud. They are rich in complex carbohydrates to provide energy before and after workout. This root vegetable is high on healthy minerals and vitamins. Ingredients
- 1 small, large, medium Sweet potato, raw
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tbsp, ground Spices, pepper, black
- 50 gram Yogurt, Greek, plain, nonfat
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit and line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
- Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into one and a half inch sticks just like typical French fries.
- Transfer the potatoes sticks into a large bowl and toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Place the seasoned sweet potato sticks to the baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes or until brown and crisp. Stir the potato sticks in between the cooking for even cooking.
- When the potato sticks are brown, remove from the oven and serve with Greek yogurt dip.
