Ingredients
- 0.5 lb Beef, chuck for stew, separable lean and fat, choice, raw
- 10 gram Wheat flour, whole-grain, soft wheat
- 1 cup chopped Carrots, raw
- 1 cup, sliced Onions, raw
- 1 cup, chopped or sliced Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
- 0.5 cup Beans, white, mature seeds, cooked, boiled, with salt
- 1 cup Beef Broth or Bouillon (Canned)
- 1 package Tuscan Beef Stew Seasoning Mix
- 1 gram Oil, olive, salad or cooking
Instructions
- Take a deep sauce pan, heat oil and cook beef cubes until brown from all sides.
- Sprinkle flour over the beef, stir and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add carrots, onions, tomatoes, stock and seasoning, mix all the ingredients.
- Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for about 1 hour while stirring occasionally.
- Add beans, stir and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- Serve hot along with brown rice.
