Ray berry hot breakfast bowl provides me adequate amount of required nutrition in the morning for the day long activity. This is a whole grain porridge bowl cooked with milk, rye berry, rolled oats, fruits and nuts, makes a fulfilling, fiber rich breakfast bowl.
Rye berries takes time in cooking, it is recommended to use cooked rye berries for this preparation or boil them in the night for next day use for a speedy breakfast. Use generous amount of mixed nuts to increase the amount of healthy fat and protein in the recipe. However you can substitute the nuts with fresh fruits and berries topping for the porridge as per your requirements.

Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Rye
- 1 cup Soy Milk
- 1 gram Almond Nut
- 1 tsp Spices, cinnamon, ground
Instructions
- Bring the milk to boil in a sauce pan, add rye berry.
- Stir well and reduce the heat to low, let it cook until soft.
- Add cinnamon and brown sugar, mix and cook for 1 minute.
- Remove from the heat and let it stand for 2 minutes.
- Serve in a bowl and topped with chopped almonds.
