Ingredients
- 0.96 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1.56 cup Milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, reduced fat
- 0.96 tsp Sugars, granulated
- 3.96 cup chopped Onions, young green, tops only
- 0.96 cup, diced Cheese, low fat, cheddar or colby
- 0.96 tsp Salt, table
- 0.96 tsp Leavening agents, baking soda
- 3.96 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 225.96 gram Pork, cured, bacon, pre-sliced, cooked, pan-fried
Instructions
- Set the oven temperature to 400 degree Celsius. Then place a parchment paper over the baking sheet.
- Add little oil over the skillet and heat it under medium flame. Now cook Irish bacon in it for a minute or so on both sides. Then remove the bacon and chop it.
- Take a bowl. Add the flour, salt, baking soda, granulated sugar, green onions, chopped Irish bacon and Irish cheddar and mix well. Now pour little buttermilk and mix the ingredients well to get dough of suitable consistency.
- Now make the dough round and place it over the baking sheet. Then make a cross at the top section of the dough using a knife and bake it for at least 40 minutes.
- Serve hot.
