Frankly speaking I can’t give up desserts and believe even a rigorous bodybuilder who follows a strict diet would be crave for sweets. I love my sweet desserts very much and collected many healthy recipes that support my bodybuilding goals as well. My peanut butter & banana ice cream is a perfect solution for my desserts need. I add whey protein powder in the preparation to increase the protein intake in my diet.
Say no to widely available ice-creams for bodybuilders in the market because you never know what’s in there, make your very own homemade ice –cream and add excitement to your meals. Enjoy this sweet, nutty and delicious ice – cream that is easy to make and nutritious. Serve this ice cream plain or feel free to experiment, add other ingredients while serving.
Here is one of my favorite Serving suggestion – melt dark chocolate chips and pour over the ice to serve.

Ingredients
- 1 medium Bananas, raw
- 1 tablespoon Peanut butter, smooth, reduced fat
- 0.5 cup Milk, reduced fat, fluid, 2% milkfat, without added vitamin A and vitamin D
- 2 scoop Gold Standard Chocolate Whey
- 1 peanut Peanuts, all types, dry-roasted, with salt
- 1 tsp Sweetener, syrup, agave
Instructions
- Peel and cut banana roughly.
- Blend the banana along with peanut butter, whey, milk and sweetener until smooth.
- Stir in roasted peanuts in the mixture.
- Keep in the freezer for 6 hours or until set.
- Serve with chocolate glaze or fruits.
