Yangchow fried rice is classic Chinese rice preparation, it is named after a city of china in eastern region. Slightly seasoned fragrant rice visually appeals to indulge with them. Many worthy ingredients are added to the rice that are suitable for muscle building like – ham, cubed pork, green peas, shrimps and green onion. Ingredients
- 1 cup Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cubic inch Turkey ham, sliced, extra lean, prepackaged or deli-sliced
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1 cup Peas, green, frozen, cooked, boiled, drained, with salt
- 1 tsp Oil, coconut
- 1 cup, chopped or diced Peppers, hot chili, red, raw
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 tbsp Onions, young green, tops only
- 1 tbsp Rice wine vinegar
Instructions
- Heat a heavy bottom pan over high heat until smoking hot, add oil and shrimps cook for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped ham and green peas, stir and cook for 2-3 minute.
- Add cooked rice, salt and crushed red chilies, mix well with the help of spatula to combine the rice with other ingredients.
- Stir fry the rice for one minute, add green onions and rice vinegar, stir to combine.
- Cook just until the shrimps are opaque and mixture is well combines.
- Serve hot.
