Chicken 65 is an amazing recipe originated in Indian subcontinent; it is hot spicy chicken breast chunks that can be served as an appetizer or snacks. Originally the recipe calls for deep frying of the chicken pieces but after considering the health issue I opted for the oven baked version of ‘chicken 65’ recipe. The flavor of the recipe remains the same in this recipe but the fat content will reduce when we bake the chicken in the oven. It is simple yet full of flavor chicken preparation; I love these hot and spicy chicken nuggets that are marinated overnight in ginger, vinegar, cayenne pepper and mustard sauce marinade before baking.

Ingredients
- 1 fillet Chicken breast, low fat
- 1 tbsp Spices, ginger, ground
- 1 tsp Spices, garlic powder
- 1 tsp Spices, pepper, red or cayenne
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 fl oz Lemon juice, raw
- 1 tsp Vinegar, cider
- 10 gram Yogurt, Greek, plain, nonfat
- 1 dash Salt, table
- 1 2 drops Food Color, Red, liquid
- 1 tsp Oil, olive, salad or cooking
- 1 cup Coriander (cilantro) leaves, raw
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breast into small bit size pieces.
- Prepare the marinade by whisking together – garlic powder, ginger paste, cayenne pepper powder, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, vinegar, red food color and salt.
- Marinade the chicken pieces in spice mix and refrigerate over night for better result.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit and prepare the baking tray by greasing it with non stick oil.
- Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and place in the baking tray; spray some olive oil over it.
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve baked chicken pieces.
